Started by prepping the novelty helmet. I wanted to mask her off so I cut the frisket and applied it to the helmet. You can already see the form take shape. I left the mouth, nose and eyes masked off so I knew where they were suppose to be and I would easily keep the perspective.

Next I start airbrushing the flesh-tone. I build up the layers slowly starting with basic flesh-tone and airbrushing the highlights, using the black of the helmet to maintain the shadows.

You can see that she is starting to have a 3D look instead of just flat... all her curves and shadows are airbrushed in now. The masking that we started with is still in place, just a little more difficult to see as it is covered in paint now.

In this step I remove all the masking of the outfit that she is wearing. I add the highlights to the 'leather' outfit she is wearing.

Finally I add in the facial features, giving her beautiful eyes and full lips...

Now i remove all the masking and paint in her hair and other fine features.

I put 3 coats of clear on the helmet and she's done!
